Children’s Home Manager – Haringey
Salary: Up to £65,000 per year (DOE)
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ Ofsted residential management experience required
A high‑quality children’s residential home in Haringey is seeking a committed, experienced Registered Manager to lead a nurturing, stable and child‑centred service. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day management of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations
- Drive a positive, therapeutic culture that puts children’s safety, wellbeing and development first
- Manage, support and develop staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality care
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, audits, and quality assurance
- Maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, professionals and families
- Ensure the home is always inspection‑ready and striving for “Good” or “Outstanding” outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an Ofsted‑regulated children’s home
- Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks, legislation and best practice
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people
