Mental Health Support Worker β Inspire North
About the Role
Join Inspire North as a Mental Health Support Worker and be part of a team dedicated to supporting adults with complex mental health needs.
Based at Oakwood Hall in Leeds, youβll provide a mix of practical, emotional, and therapeutic support to residents, helping them feel safe, respected, and empowered. From assisting with daily living skills to providing medication support and encouraging healthy routines, youβll play a vital role in promoting recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:

Provide person-centred support to residents with complex mental health needs

Offer practical help with daily living, routines, and independence

Deliver emotional and therapeutic support in a safe, respectful way

Assist with medication management and healthy living practices

Work flexibly, including waking night shifts and weekends

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive, inclusive environment
Candidate Requirements
Weβre looking for someone who brings:

A compassionate, calm, and non-judgemental approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Experience supporting vulnerable individuals (ideally within mental health)

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
